Frequently ask questions

What is an FAQ?

It is a frequently asked question – we answer all questions that come to us.

Can I attend if I am not a member?

Absolutely, membership is not required to attend. Membership is a way to support the centre and a way of fundraising.

Where does the Church meet?

At present we are offering all our Services and Events virtually on Zoom as we currently do not have a bricks-and-mortar home. When in-person meetings are allowed, we will be looking for our new home.

Can anyone become a member?

Yes! USC is a modern non-denominational Spiritualist Centre serving all who are seeking the Spirit Within. We aim to offer a wide variety of services to best support everyone on their spiritual journey.

What are the costs associated with membership?

Regular Membership - $30 per year; Seniors 60+ - $ 20 per year. We are a volunteer organization, there are no paid staff or ministers. All funds raised are used to pay our Center’s expenses and savings for a new home.

What are the COVID-19 protocols currently in effect?

We are operating on a virtual platform at this time and when in-person meetings are possible again, we will be looking for a new home and will follow all public health orders.

How can I Donate?

We have 4 ways to donate: E transfer; Cheque; PayPal; Canada Helps. All info for how you can donate is found on our website Donate page.

Are You a Registered Charity?

We are a Registered Charity, and all donations are recorded, and we issue a tax receipt in January for the previous year.

How many years has the Centre been active?

The organization was incorporated in March of 1987 but had been operating a few years before that.

Who are the board members of the Church?

The Board Members are listed on our Our People page of the website.

Are you a Christian organization?

No. We are non-denominational.
